Can I choose a package and add on another pianist or singer or harpist?
Yes! We have very talented musician friends who are established in the Singapore arts scene and we can coordinate that for you. Just talk to us :)
I only need the string quartet to play 3 songs. Do I still have to pay for the full package?
Yes, because we still take time to rehearse before your performance, we take time to transport our instruments and other equipments to get to your venue, and often times we are made to wait around for more than the duration we perform. We hope you understand!
I need the string quartet to perform for an hour, but I want them to arrive for soundcheck 2 hours before. Can I just pay for an hour?
No, in that case you will have to hire us for 3 hours. You are hiring us for our time and whether we perform or wait around is up to you. While we sit for hours waiting to perform, we could have been teaching or performing for another event. As freelancing musicians we don't get paid a base salary, instead, we get paid by the hour. That's why we have decided to charge subsequent hours at a lesser fee. It's a small fee for you but it means a lot to us knowing that we are respected for our time!
What is the admin fee for and why I do have to pay for it?
The admin fee is a small nominal fee to pay for one of us musicians to coordinate with you prior to your event, compiling music and buying music, coordinating with the rest of the string quartet, coordinating with contact person / event planner prior to your event, keeping up this website domain and marketing, and transportation for bringing our music stands.
Why does the special song request fee vary between $10 to $100?
The price varies because we try our best to accommodate your request and sometimes we can find cheap sheet music online that works perfectly for us! Other times, the song has to be transcribed by hand and specially arranged for us in a string quartet setting, which is a time consuming process that can take couple of days.
How do I pay?
After you complete our booking form, we'll send you an email to confirm your details and information about payment! We require a 50% deposit to book our quartet and the remainder 50% to be paid at least 24 hours before the event. Without a deposit we cannot reserve the date for you and our calendar remains open to other clients!
Do you take credit card?
Yes we can! We do prefer paynow/paylah, which is the local mode of payment here in SG.
For credit card payments, there is an additional 3.5% fee charged to you, and the payment link will be sent to you when requested.
